Your policy and the situation in the Middle East

Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, there's significant travel disruption and updated travel advice affecting several countries and major connecting airports. We understand this is a difficult situation. Unfortunately, our policy doesn't cover claims caused by war, acts of war or civil unrest. This includes trip cancellation, cutting your trip short and any additional costs that come from these events.

How to move forward

Since our policy doesn't cover these circumstances, you'll need to contact your providers directly – and they may be able to help:
‍

Package trips: contact your tour operator. You might be covered under the Package Travel Regulations 2018.
Flights: contact your airline to discuss rebooking, refunds or passenger rights under UK261/EU261.
Hotels, car hire and other prepaid services: get in touch with your provider to see if you can rearrange dates or get a refund.
Rescheduling your policy: if you have a single trip policy, contact the issuer to see if you can move your cover to new travel dates (where this is allowed).

What’s included in your cover

Purchase protection

Receive a refund if something you bought with your Revolut account is accidentally damaged or stolen. The coverage applies to both online and offline purchases including mobile devices, laptops and tablets.

Need to know:

Exclusions: Items with a purchase price of less than 50 €/£ are not covered
Duration: You are covered up to 365 days from the purchase
Eligibility: The item must have been purchased with your Revolut account
Depreciation: A depreciation of 5% per month is applied as from the 4th month

Refund protection

Get refunded for items up to €/£300 if the retailler won't take back the item or your are too late to get refund from the retailer

Need to know:

Limits: up to 300€/£ per claim with a maximum of 600€/£ per year
Duration: You are covered up to 90 days since the purchase
Eligibility: The item must have been purchased with your Revolut account
Other: You will have to ship the item to Qovers' offices, shipping cost is covered up to 50€/£

Event ticket cancellation

Get reimbursed when bad luck stops you making it to an event (theater, concerts, sports ...) because of a sudden and unexpected circumstance.
